Community Physical Infrastructure (CPI)

With the generous support of PPAF, SVDP managed to establish 46 farmers’ cooperatives by the end of 2003. SVDP supported and worked with 2000 tube wells, 80,000 Acres of land and more than 200,000 direct beneficiaries. Farmers Cooperatives work for collective action on various projects like on-farm water management practices, soil and water testing or appropriate inputs, acquisition of quality inputs like seeds and fertilizers etcetera, cropping pattern change management with best alternates, marketing of agricultural produce and developing synergies for holistic impact on the local residents.

SVDP completed 152 pipe irrigation schemes ( around 2300,000 feet of PVC pressure pipes are dumped underground for irrigation), 60 water ponds, 10 Drinking water schemes, 5 Delayed Action Dams with 57 check dams, management of 10 Natural Resources and plantation/seeding of 21000 local species in 30 villages within a period of 10 years i.e. 2003 to 2013.

After our agreement with PPAF in DMPP’s project following were our successful completions;
